The J Tan Oil 200ML

What it is

A classic tanning oil. Coconut oil and carrot seed oil condition the skin and lend a subtle warm tone, so the colour you build in the sun comes up more evenly and your skin stays soft instead of dry and flaky.

It contains no tanning accelerator and no self-tanner. It will not create a tan on its own — the sun does that. This oil conditions your skin along the way.

The ingredients that matter

• Carrot Seed Oil (Daucus Carota Sativa): the traditional tanning-oil ingredient. Its natural carotenoids give skin a subtle warm tone.
• Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera): softens and conditions.
• Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate): an antioxidant that also keeps the oil stable.
• Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum): a well-established, stable emollient that holds moisture in. It is a refined petroleum-derived oil, not a plant oil — we would rather tell you than call it something it isn't.

How to use

1. Exfoliate beforehand so the colour builds evenly.
2. Apply your sunscreen first and let it absorb.
3. Shake well. Apply a small amount evenly over the body and massage in.
4. Reapply for hydration every 2 hours, or after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Reapply your sunscreen separately, per its own instructions.
5. Rinse off afterwards and follow with an after-sun moisturiser.

Build colour gradually over several shorter sessions. Avoid direct sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when UV is strongest.

Safety

• No SPF. This product does not prevent sunburn, premature skin ageing, or skin cancer — and it increases UV exposure.
• Contains Parfum. If you have fragrance sensitivities or allergies, patch test on a small area first.
• Contains coconut oil. Avoid if you have a coconut allergy.
• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs.
• Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or rash occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for children.
• Oils can stain fabric and make surfaces slippery.
